Lost and Found

On a bright sunny day 
Into the woods I lost my way... 
  
My heart raced and mind wandered 
Just then a fawn sauntered 
My face lit up at the sight 
And faded a lil bit of my fright 
  
I look around to see tall trees 
Greeting the azure world and swaying in the breeze 
"The woods were lovely dark and deep" 
I stood entranced by myself in my jeep 
  
An orchestra of chirps was music to the ear 
I thanked my luck for showing this path to steer 
I considered myself the chosen one 
For taking the road chosen by none 
  
I drove mesmerized in the resplendent land 
Consumed by the brilliance of mother Nature's band 
I witnessed "Infinity in the wild flowers" 
And "Eternity is these hours" 
  
I meandered along the river's bend 
Her banks fecund as She wend 
My life replaying in my head slowly 
I "recalled all emotions tranquilly" 
  
The sun and the clouds played hide-n-seek 
Drizzles flew down and painted a rainbow so stylish and sleek 
The dusk was taking over from the dawn 
I realized my due of time in this paradise is over and I have move on 
  
I drove ahead to discover the road I missed 
Bidding good bye to this "lost land" now all sun kissed 
I thought I had lost myself today 
But soon realized I found my "Self" this way!!
